It was certainly an exciting meeting.

Ray Burman(husband of Victoria!) gave an inspiring and refreshing talk on "The Pride of Rotary". For once, all assembled were quiet!(This had nothing to do with the fact he is, besides being Victoria's husband, a policeman!

Cricket - the Club is going to the Colchester Cricket Week - 24 August- tickets have been set aside for members and their partners - £55 per head - includes morning coffee, lunch and tea(there is a cash bar)We will be supporting the Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre.

Nick had run in the London Marathon on behalf of the Little Haven Children's Hospice at Southend. He said that he hopes to raise over £2,000 - well done. Colchester Centurion gave Nick £60 as a contribution from the Club towards this worthwhile cause. Our President Christine, is shown here presenting the cheque.
