The first exploratory meetings took place in December 2000 and we held our Charter Night on Wednesday 14th November 2001 with 27 members; we celebrated our first anniversary with 30 members When does the Club meet? Every Wednesday morning at 7.00am in the Classics Bar at Colchester Leisure World. By choosing this time, we do not impinge on your day. We finish at 08.30 to allow our busy members to get to work on time. Do you have to be male to join? No, we are what is called a "dual gender" club - something of a rarity. We want to appeal to all business people. We are compassionate about commitment What commitment do I have to make? Business today is very demanding. Employers are rarely in a position to allow time off for charity work and often demand long hours of their employees. Our club aims to allow for this and to be grateful and compassionate about the amount of time busy members can dedicate. What's in it for me? Rotary offers members the opportunity to network, meet like- minded business people. The principles of Rotary - friendship and helping our local community are paramount, but most of all we want you to have fun. The social events we organise are there to be enjoyed by members, partners and their families. Every Wednesday - 7.00 am to 8.30 - Breakfast meeting in the Classics Bar, Colchester Leisure World, Cowdray Avenue, Colchester, Essex |
